The Digital Desk Certification class serves will help propel you into the future of desk claim handling with Crawford's cutting-edge Digital Desk platform. Embracing the latest strategies and technological tools, this program is designed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of claim handling processes.
This rigorous evaluation evaluates key adjuster proficiencies including:
- Coverage determination,
- Proficiency in estimate composition using Xactimate,
- Effective communication skills,
- Aptitude to receive and implement feedback,
- Meticulous attention to detail,
- Skill in time management, and
- Competence in utilizing basic office technologies such as Internet applications, Outlook email, and calendar applications.
Successful completion of this assessment, recorded in Renovo, verifies eligibility for remote desk adjusting assignments with the CAT DD team.
Qualifications for the Assessment: (qualifications will be verified in Renovo, all participants should have a current resume outlining experience)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a property adjuster,
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in writing estimates using Xactimate, and
• Listing in Crawford’s Roster in good standing status.
Length of Certification Class: Up to 3 days
Objective: Participants will be tested on their coverage knowledge and will be presented with two damage scenarios for review. Utilizing provided information such as photos and reports, they must accurately craft settlement estimates using Xactimate. There is a knowledge test administered during the class. To receive the certification, each participant must pass the exam and do well on the estimate writing scenarios. The estimate writing scenarios will be distributed to each participant after class. Each participant will complete each estimate on their own and submit for review. The estimates are due by 7 pm Eastern the same day.
Process:
- Each participant, after registering and the team confirming your experience, will receive a meeting notice to attend the three-hour class.
- Each participant must sign in on-time to attend the certification class via Teams and complete the exam offered during the class. The exam must be emailed as directed during the class.
- The two damage scenarios will be emailed to participants after the class and exam.
- Participants are responsible for reviewing each scenario, drafting an estimate, and submitting it for review. Estimates should be sent for review upon completion.
- Submitted exam answers and estimates will undergo a meticulous review process. Participants may be asked to make corrections on their estimates and resubmit for reevaluation.
- Estimates are deemed complete only upon approval by our designated reviewer.
