Overview
The 2-Day Auto, Bodily Injury, Liability & Negotiation Training is designed for an adjuster knowledgeable of the adjuster profession and looking to learn more about handling auto claims. This class will address how to manage the bodily injury claim process and give you tools to help determine whether a described claim is covered and related under the Auto policy. You will learn how to determine if the pain is a result of your claim. Students will also learn how to properly review and determine coverages, gather statements, review police reports, and review damages so you can begin to determine liability.
Students will be given the tools needed to help determine what duty was owed, what duty was breached, and who had the right of way to determine liability decisions. As a bonus, we will cover the art of negotiating with attorneys and public adjusters.
This course is open to both beginner and experienced adjusters.
Course Requirements for Virtual Classroom
Students of this course should meet the following criteria before attending the virtual class:
- Laptop or Desktop computer with access to Google Chrome
- External mouse
- High-speed internet connection
- Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Windows navigation
- Knowledge of the adjuster profession and basic understanding of damage identification/building components
- MUST have an active adjuster license
What to Expect
This course will be instructed by a Crawford CAT training specialist. The class will be instructed through Microsoft Teams. Class begins promptly at 8:00 am (CST) and will end at 5:00 pm (CST). There will be two fifteen-minute breaks and a one-hour lunch. Students will also be provided with optional homework assignments.
