Ready to respond and restore: Taiwan Earthquake
A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of southern Taiwan, centred some 38 kilometers southeast of Chiayi County Hall and at a depth of 10 kilometres. The quake caused scattered damage around the cities of Chiayi and Tainan.
Rescue operations are ongoing, and authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage.

On early Tuesday, January 21, 2025, a significant earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred in Taiwan, affecting the southern regions. Crawford Asia is actively monitoring the situation and assessing the impact on businesses and infrastructure.
