Quebec is slowly finding its footing after a weekend of unprecedented weather that left a trail of destruction in its wake. The remnants of tropical storm Debby brought record rainfall, knocking out power, flooding homes, and rendering key roads impassable.

Efforts are already underway to set up a temporary pumping system to mitigate further risks and manage water accumulations, but the damage done will take time to fully address.

As the province begins to recover, it's clear that the resilience of our communities and the response of our teams will be critical in navigating the challenges ahead.
