Crawford mobilizes its catastrophe response team as powerful winds pummel Ontario
Intense winds up to 120 kilometers per hour swept through Ontario, Canada in early May of 2018 before moving east into Quebec. Hundreds of thousands of residents lost power as the windstorm caused downed trees and power lines.
Crawford Catastrophe Services deployed adjusters to assist Crawford Canada in responding to this major event. Field adjusters were immediately deployed to Toronto, Canada to handle property claims and inside desk adjusters were also assigned to the area to assist with the surplus of claims.
Jim Eso, senior vice president, Property & Casualty, Crawford Canada commented, “In response to call volume activity, we ramped up our contact central staff and mobilized our catastrophe response adjusting team to assist those in need in a prompt, professional and empathetic manner.”
