Women in Asia
We are extremely fortunate to have some very accomplished women working across our global network, helping us to make Crawford a more diverse organisation at all levels.
In the next few weeks, we will introduce you to some of our inspirational female leaders from the APAC region, giving you a little insight into their roles, motivations and ambitions. Today, we start with Veronica Grigg, president, Asia.
Veronica Grigg
During her 15-year tenure at Crawford, Veronica Grigg has had numerous senior roles working across a number of different territories. The current president of Crawford Asia, she’s passionate about building sustainable businesses and winning cultures.
“Crawford for me is synonymous with great claims service and I see so much potential for Crawford in Asia."
Veronica says. “During the selection process I spoke with diverse, interesting and compelling leaders. The choice for me was clear – team Crawford.”
Veronica is a firm believer in the power of a team, she embraces the benefits of collaborating and prides herself on building strong, yet agile teams. Her track record of reliability and success make her dependable with a firm reputation for ‘getting stuff done’.
She takes inspiration from leaders who have challenged her to exceed her own expectations, and importantly people who are authentic, passionate and real.
Her varied career has seen her working in the majority of global insurance markets from London, Sydney, Singapore and New York. This diverse range of roles and cultures has thrown up its own challenges, but Veronica credits embracing diversity of thought, approach and backgrounds with helping her to overcome this.
Veronica’s drive and determination has seen her recognised by Insurance Business Asia as she has just been named as one of their Elite Women for 2021. This accolade celebrates 21 women from across Asia who have gone above and beyond for their clients, colleagues, organisations and the industry as a whole.
Her passion for Crawford is infectious, and it’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, so it’s rather fitting that her favourite quote comes from childhood favourite, Winnie the Pooh, ‘If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.’
