Fostering a positive culture of belonging and aligning our employee objectives with our wider business goals is central to our culture. Recognising how our colleagues go above and beyond for our customers and each other is just one way we can ensure our teams see how important they are to our continued success.
Launched in 2019, the Crawford IMPACT Awards give our UK employees the chance to nominate colleagues for their outstanding ideas, contributions, and teamwork. Their stories provide a real-life perspective on how our people help shape a culture of respect, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit across our organisation. The awards are the perfect opportunity to shine a light on these individuals and groups who continue to bring exceptional value to the organisation.
Allowing colleagues to nominate their peers, brings stories to our attention that we may otherwise miss – and is a vital resource for our leaders to see the depth and breadth of our exceptional talent. As President, UK and Ireland, Lisa Bartlett comments:
"I firmly believe that we are only as good as our best people. The IMPACT Awards give us a chance to hear about all the great work they are doing across every part of the Crawford family. These stories are not always heard, especially in all the noise of the past 18 months, so it's a fantastic opportunity to show everyone just how exceptional our talent is."
2021 has been as much of a challenge as 2020. Once again, Crawford's employees have risen to the multiple challenges created by the continued backdrop of the pandemic, Brexit, our unpredictable UK weather, and the ever-present risk of an economic downturn.
As Lisa reaffirms, "The challenges presented to us this year have been different again, and as a group, we are constantly adapting to change and external shifts. The Impact award winners have all been inspirational to others. Whether through their hard work, expertise, and approach to challenging workloads or in how they have helped teams to come, and stay, together through some of the most disruptive times we have known."
This year, many of our IMPACT Award winners have earned recognition for being creative, resilient, and showing exceptional levels of camaraderie, even at a distance. These characteristics have become more and more important to us in these testing times, and the IMPACT Awards are an excellent way to say for us to say, 'Thank you.'
IMPACT Award winners represent every part of our company. All have gone above and beyond their ordinary roles to help us achieve our purpose of restoring and enhancing lives, businesses and communities. Congratulations to all our winners:
