Crawford Catastrophe Services fearlessly jumped into 2023 with its presence at the annual conference hosted by the National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters (NACA). Held in Las Vegas, NV, CAT has been in attendance for many consecutive years and always looks forward to connecting with the adjuster community.
This year, CAT showed up in a big way by being a Diamond sponsor, allowing them to have a more visible presence at the conference, hosting a Lunch & Learn, and having the opportunity to continue supporting the growth of the adjuster community.
In addition, the CAT team hosted 14 specialized training sessions, making them the majority offered at NACA this year. Hear what Geoffrey Conrad, Director of Training at CAT, had to say about the conference:
“The Crawford National Catastrophe Team was very well represented at this year’s NACA 2023 held in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a NACA Diamond sponsor, Richard Folkman was able to speak about what makes Crawford Catastrophe special and the opportunities with Crawford during the opening ceremony. The Crawford Catastrophe Training Department hosted a “Lunch and Learn” event where adjusters played trivia to compete for prizes. The lunch was attended by over 150 adjusters with 94 adjusters participating in the game. The training department (Andy Patterson, Mike Vann, Scott Freeman, Susan Thompson, Tom Melton, and Geoffrey Conrad) also hosted 14 training classes (83 total CE credits offered across 4 states) with over 400 adjusters attending Crawford-instructed training classes. The classes included 5 flood classes, 3 Xactimate, environmental/ManCat, water mitigation estimating, tree damage estimation, auto, and liability claim handling. There was a tremendous amount of adjuster talent in attendance (671 registered adjusters). We are busy adding top talent to our roster. We look forward to making an even bigger impact next year!”
Along with connecting with adjusters in classes, the CAT team’s booth (pictured above) allowed them to meet new individuals in the field along with seasoned professionals. This is an example of how CAT keeps their roster full of top-tier talent, and the importance of connecting with these adjusters at a personal level.
We look forward to seeing CAT at NACA in 2024, but there’s no need to wait a full year to see what they’re up to next. Their annual CAT Conference is just around the corner (February 19-23) – check back to hear all about it!
