Adjusters can be sent to some truly exceptional places to help restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities. Recently UK adjuster, Stuart Cannon, found himself on a breath-taking trip up the Cairngorm mountain.
The Cairngorms are a stunning mountain range in the eastern Highlands of Scotland. Standing at 1000–1200 m above sea level, the peaks can have patches of lying snow for pretty much the entire year.
Following instruction from our Manchester office for Cairngorm Mountain Ltd, Stuart was advised to wear ‘suitable clothing’ for snowy/cold conditions on his visit to the company’s ski centre – little did he know how much of a trek he would be going on.
On arrival, Stuart was shown where the site was – far off into the distance and up to a steep slope. That’s when the adventure really began - with the funicular railway out of action, Stuart’s taxi to the top was not exactly an Uber!
Once the inspection was complete, surrounded by stunning scenery and minus the whiteout, Stuart was taken back down, with exceptional views all the way.
Just another a fantastic example of the varied work we do and going the extra mile to help people and businesses, no matter where they are!
