This year’s National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference was held in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 6-8. The world’s largest workers compensation conference typically has over 6,000 attendees from across the country.
Broadspire hosted a Thought Leadership Forum which featured three educational sessions led by members of the leadership team. In each session, attendees, including industry insiders, leaders and media, were able and eager to learn about Broadspire’s unique offerings and solutions.
Erica Fichter, senior vice president of Medical Management, kicked off the sessions by highlighting some of Broadspire’s successful return to work through vocational services outcomes. In her session, she discussed how early and aggressive intervention has the greatest potential to reduce time-loss and improve return to work for both the employer and employee.
Jeff Sickles, senior vice president of Claims and Field Operations, held the second of the three educational sessions, entitled, “Improving Litigation Claims Management with Technology.” In it, he, alongside the President of 200 Solutions, Taylor Smith, discussed the complex nature of claims litigation and the risk associated with improperly managed litigation claims. He also detailed ways in which technology can be used to create efficient litigation programs that will reduce costs and simplify the litigation process.
Our Thought Leadership Forum concluded with a session held by Joel Raedeke, senior vice president of Analytics and Technology. His session entitled “Tools to Drive Strategic Change,” focused on TPAs and their potential to be effective, long term consultative partners. Joel went on to describe ways TPAs can help companies create opportunities for action and improvement.
From the striking display of our booth to our educational presentations at the Broadspire Thought Leadership Forum, Broadspire’s innovations and solutions were well represented. NWCDC 2019 was a major success for Broadspire. Neil Lentine, US President, Broadspire: Global TPA Solutions, expressed that,
“Our focus this year was incorporating more of our industry expertise and focusing on what knowledge we can share with the industry. It was very well received, and we look forward to bringing the momentum into 2020.”
