Each year, over 10,000 attendees from 70+ countries attend the world’s largest risk event, RIMS. Crawford was represented at this year’s show by 60+ members of our sales, operations, marketing and strategy teams in Boston, MA from April 28th to May 1st. Together, we shared Crawford’s mission with clients, prospects, partners and the media.
Industry outlets such as Risk & Insurance, AM Best, Business Insurance, Property Casualty 360 and RIMS TV were eager to meet with our leaders and hear about innovation, diversity, inclusion, talent development, and medical management. From the innovative multitaction display in our booth to our thought leadership presentations in the Innovation Hub and even at our festive client reception, Crawford’s innovations and solutions were well represented.
Delivering change and innovation with the Crawford booth
On the show floor, Crawford’s 20x80 booth stood out from the crowd. An 82 square foot digital interactive display was the main attraction for visitors. Using this display, attendees explored 12 of Crawford’s key innovations such as virtual reality training, RPA, Escape of Water and drone technology. Hundreds of people came through the Crawford booth to visit with the team and explore our innovations.
Connecting globally in the Crawford Café
Industry events shrink the globe and bring together clients, partners and team members that are rarely able to connect face-to-face. For three days, the Crawford Café buzzed with excitement and served as a connection hub for Crawford and its clients.
Toasting success at the Crawford reception
All work and no play can make the days at a trade show seem even longer, so Crawford treated over 350 clients and colleagues to a “grand” time at our annual reception. This year, we hosted our event at The Grand Boston. Attendees let loose to enjoy dinner, drinks and dancing at this high-tech nightclub located in Boston’s seaport district.

For Crawford, RIMS 2019 was a resounding success. Looking back at the event, Danielle Lisenbey, Global President, TPA Solutions: Broadspire, was delighted, “Every year we outdo ourselves, and this year was no exception,” Danielle said. “Client engagement is at an all-time high, and I’m thrilled we’re able to use a show with the scale and audience of RIMS as a platform to share the innovative solutions Crawford is bringing to the market.
