Preston Tripplett, a subrogation adjuster with our Crawford Claims Solutions division, has been with Crawford for over nine years. We recently sat down with him to discuss his experience with Crawford and learn more about him.
Why did you choose Crawford?
"Honestly, I was presented with an excellent opportunity to bring my 15 years of experience to an industry innovator for claims management. It was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up."
What is a typical work week like for you?
A normal week includes issuing subrogation demands, processing and recording subrogation and salvage recovery checks and issuing deductible reimbursements. I always follow up with our clients to ensure their claim is being processed and to provide policyholders with a claim status for their deductible reimbursement.
What do you like about working at Crawford?
Crawford invests in its employees, which has allowed me to work towards obtaining my AIC. I also enjoy the team I work with and our management. It feels like a family at Crawford.
Is there a memorable claim you worked on that allowed you to fulfill Crawford’s mission of restoring and enhancing lives, businesses and communities?
As a member of the Tesla Insurance Service team, our primary goal is to assist our clients by expediting their claims and returning claimants’ lives to normal as soon as possible.
How will adjusting change over the next five years?
I think COVID-19 has proven that adjusting can be done remotely and in the next five years, insurance companies may be able to reduce their overhead by not having to acquire as much office space.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy amusement parks, comedy shows, attending professional sporting events and going to the range. I’m interested in golf, which led me to Top Golf, where I can practice my swing.
