Crawford Claim Solutions (CCS) has made several recent investments in top tier talent in the US as it embarks on its 2020 strategy to ensure it fulfills its mission to restore and enhance lives businesses and communities throughout the world. These key people will be instrumental in the development of new, innovative solutions that will propel us into the future and provide clients with seamless claims experiences.
Our new senior appointments will each play a key role as we rethink our operating models, embrace digital transformation and centralize many aspects of the claims process. Harnessing data and technology is key in order to better control claims and deliver digital claims journey and data-driven insights and performance metrics.
Improving client experience is at the heart of all our new initiatives, and 23-year Crawford veteran Jack Schafer has an important role to play having been promoted to Chief Client Officer, Loss Adjusting Services, US. In this role, Jack will focus on unifying business development efforts from Crawford Claims Solutions (CCS), Global Technical Services (GTS) and Contractor Connection (CCC) teams as we strive to deliver comprehensive end-to-end solutions to our clients.
Growing the capabilities of our WeGoLook network is essential as we seek to continue to improve the speed and efficiency of our service, and former AT&T and Verizon senior leader Christopher Harrell has been promoted from his role as Business Development Director to serve as WeGoLook’s Area Vice President of Business Development.
Key strategic initiatives in the US also include major growth drives in SMC (small/medium carriers) and US CAT business. Maureen Westling, who spent 36 years at Nationwide Insurance and was most recently Managing Director of Claims for National Flood Service, joins as Vice President, US Catastrophe Services Operations. Her goal is to strengthen and build relationships with new and existing CAT clients as Crawford continues to grow in this segment with expansion across flood, storms and hail.
Meanwhile, Mark Buffa has been promoted to oversee operational delivery in our Small and Medium Carrier operation. This operation provides an end-to-end solution for carriers delivering top quartile customer satisfaction.
