At Crawford, we have always recognized that our people are the fabric of our business and the face we present to our clients and their customers.
We believe meaningful recognition of their achievements plays an important part in creating a positive culture within our business. That is why we recently launched the Crawford IMPACT Awards in the UK, an annual event set up to provide a platform to acknowledge and reward those colleagues who have truly excelled over the last 12 months.
Programs like IMPACT help us to demonstrate that our exceptional people are a key part of our growth and success. Further, they contribute to our work to shape a culture of respect, collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit across our organization.
All of the IMPACT Award winners, who represent every part of our company, have gone above and beyond their ordinary roles to help us achieve our mission, delivering first-class service and support to our client base, and to each other. Recognised by their peers, each has a different story to share.
This year’s IMPACT stars were:
Nigel Cordingley
Nigel’s ability to combine technical and empathy skills in his role has placed him top of the leader board amongst his peers. His ability to maintain consistently high standards has also been acknowledged by his clients.
Laura Dickson
Laura’s friendly and professional nature means that visitors to our London office always feel welcome when they enter reception. Her enthusiastic contributions to morale, camaraderie and teamwork are regularly recognized.
Peter McPartland
While a relative newcomer to the Crawford team, Peter’s commitment to the business is already clearly evident. His incredible enthusiasm and drive are having a tangible business impact, and he has quickly become an integral member of the team.
Louise Billingsley
Louise is a fantastic communicator who is able to inspire those around her by being both positive and proactive at all times, even during challenging times. Her drive always ensures that she delivers exceptional levels of customer service.
Melissa Ratcliffe
During her 10 years at Crawford, Melissa has been fully committed to developing her career which has been reflected in her progression through the company. Through launching a training project, Melissa has shared her experiences, helping others within the business by encouraging and supporting their professional development.
Rob Barlow
Thanks to his unrivalled relationship-building skills, Rob has gained a fantastic insight into the specific needs of every client. This has enabled him to achieve an unrivalled level of service alignment, and he is continually striving to exceed expectations.
Simon Dunstan
Throughout his work on a significant loss, Simon worked closely with all parties, continually providing the client with updates and reassurance as well as working behind the scenes to pursue the best course of action for all involved.
Lisa James
Heavily involved in developing our graduate programs and processes, Lisa is continually driving improvements through her performance updates to the team. She’s a fantastic leader and motivator, and has introduced new 1-to-1s, daily conference calls and regular training to great effect
Aileen Little
Aileen is well known for providing exceptional customer service, but perhaps most notably in a case involving escape of oil. The customer wrote a glowing compliment letter, commending her for her expert handling of the incident.
Suzie Norman
With her professionalism, commitment and determination to provide exceptional service and exceed expectations, Suzie’s support and guidance allow the wider business to continually deliver on its promise to restore lives, business and communities in the UK.
Colin Russell
Colin was instrumental in achieving a positive outcome when faced with a very difficult situation involving a claim relating to a vulnerable customer. Thanks to his diligent, thorough and supportive handling of the claim he was able to achieve a successful resolution.
