Crawford Australia has brought back well-known executive loss adjuster Matt Donnelly to lead our Victoria and Tasmania major and complex loss teams.
Previously with Crawford for over 12 and a half years, Donnelly rejoined us in September as GTS Manager Victoria & Tasmania/ Executive Adjuster.
Head of Specialty Loss Adjusting Craig McLeod said after a seven-year hiatus it was terrific to have attracted Donnelly back.
“Matt is an experienced and highly regarded adjuster who is well known in the market thanks to his almost 30 years of experience across the industry,”
McLeod said.
Prior to returning to Crawford, Donnelly held General Manager roles at two buildings companies that primarily service the insurance industry.
“Matt has solid track record in leading high performing cultures and I have no doubt he’s going to bring a fresh perspective to our Victoria and Tasmania teams; in my view a new and fresh perspective is always healthy,” McLeod commented.
McLeod also noted that Crawford’s Specialty Loss Adjusting team had gone from strength to strength over the past two years.
“The war for talent in our industry is relentless, but it’s heartening that we continue to attract top candidates and, as a result, there is no doubt that our Specialty team is second to none.”
When asked what he believed attracted people to Crawford, McLeod commented: “I think candidates can see a business in Crawford that is evolving and looking ahead, we’re not standing still unimaginatively, and that’s attractive; people want to be part of something that’s progressive.”
With roots as a traditional loss adjuster, Crawford Australia has reinvented itself over the past decade to also include its third-party administration offering, CRD Building Consultants & Engineers, its managed repair arm Contractor Connection, as well as law firm HBA Legal.
Crawford Australia President Jonathan Hubbard commented: “There is not one part of the business that is more important than the other parts; all are equally important. Having all these elements makes us the only claims management provider in Australia to be able to handle a claim from ‘first notice of loss’ through to legals where necessary and everything in between.
“Critically, for clients, it’s not a take it all or leave it situation. They can choose to use select parts of our offering, or go for a One Crawford holistic approach to claims management; the choice is entirely theirs. But, key, is that they have choice.
“The benefit to the client if they choose the One Crawford approach – whether that be on a cyber matter, or a liability matter, or something else, is that they don’t have to deal with the multitude of suppliers that are inevitably needed across the life of a major claim. Dealing with one supplier, such as Crawford, is less hassle for clients and we’ve got no end of case studies to suggest it’s quicker and more cost effective too,” Hubbard said.
Meantime, Crawford has new leadership for the major and complex loss area in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory, with Executive Adjuster Micheal Dinan being elevated to WA/SA/NT GTS Manager/ National Executive Adjuster, to take effect from mid October
