With 20 years under his belt, David Lee has seen Crawford evolve into the world’s premier claims management company servicing over 70 countries. The excitement of never knowing what challenge will surface tomorrow keeps David thriving day-after-day while the camaraderie and leadership have led to him calling Crawford home for two decades.
Early career
During his college years at Arkansas State University, David participated in an aptitude test and the learned that claims would be a good career fit for him. So David explored opportunities across the claims industry, which led him to Crawford. Shortly after interviewing, David was hired as a casualty trainee.
Crawford career
He soon found himself in the field as a Crawford multi-line adjuster and continued within this role for the next several years before landing in a management role. Over the 10 years, he served as a field supervisor overseeing a team of 20 across 10 states. However, he missed the excitement of being in the field and making a difference. This ultimately drove him back into field adjusting as a Crawford General Property Adjuster.
David continues to work with Crawford clients to handle their claims needs and has been recognized by clients for his “prompt and courteous” professionalism. Crawford has also recognized his contributions with various awards including Outstanding Initiative Award in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015.
Service with a purpose
At Crawford, our mission is to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities. We encourage our employees to live these values and express our vision to be the leading provider and most trusted source for expert assistance, serving those who insure and self-insure the risks of businesses and communities anywhere in the world.
We asked David what these values mean to him…
"Crawford's ability to consistently exceed expectations over decades of service is the heartbeat of our mission to restore and enhance... the work we do each day in our own communities over the course of our careers as claims professionals has a greater cumulative effect on our clients, claimants and policyholders."
The future of field adjusting
David is excited about what the future will bring to the claims world. He expects mobile platforms to help increase efficiencies and improve volume, which will lead field adjusters to speed less time behind a desk and more time in the field.
